Guerilla Baseball Academy in Mandeville Louisiana will be hosting a baseball camp during the Thanksgiving break. The dates are November 21st,22nd,23rd. Spots are limited so book your camp registration today.

The times each day are from 10 am to 1 pm.

The camp will include:

Hitting
Throwing/Pitching
Fielding
Strength and Conditioning
Wiffle Ball Series.
Awards and prizes.

Camp age groups include 7 and UP.

Coaches running the camp are Coach Brent , Daniel Pitfield and LSU’s Mitchell Sewald.

The price for the 3 day camp is $99. If you RSVP with a group of four the group price is $320. You must RSVP by using the contact link above and sending the list of four friends before the RSVP date on November 18th.

Guerilla Baseball Hitting/Throwing/Fielding/Pitching/Catching classes are back starting the 18th of July. If we get a good turnout we will keep them going into the school year. Please help spread the word!

All classes are $20 per class for non-members and $10 for Guerilla Members.

Guerilla Baseball Academy will have its summer baseball camps in July and August of 2010. We will email everyone the dates when we have them. The hold up is that Brent Pourciau is going to be a father this week so we are waiting to see when he will be available after the new baby arrives. Please wish Brent and his wife Tracy best of luck with the birthday.

We will start up the Guerilla Baseball Clinics again for the new season!

The clinics will be every Sunday from 1 – 4pm. The clinics will start the 31st of January and continue through the summer. The clinic fee is $35 per player.

Guerilla hosting AIST tryouts for Italy, Prague and the DR

Guerilla Baseball Academy is hosting tryouts for American International Sports Tours Baseball teams traveling and competing in Italy, Prague and the Dominican Republic. Tryouts are open to the public. If you make a team you will be given an invitation to travel with AIST to represent the USA in an opposing country.

The tryouts will be held on Saturday October the 17th at 1:00pm at Guerilla Baseball Academy in Mandeville. Please park in the K-Mart parking lot and walk over. If you plan to attend please contact us.

Here is a list of the events for more information follow the links to www.AIST.us. The player is responsible for funding his travel.

Dominican Republic Baseball Tour 2010

July 29 – August 5, 2010 Join us in the Dominican Republic where our select collegiate team will play against MLB Dominican Summer League teams. In the past we have played against some of the top young talent in the DR. In the past, we have played against the Mets, Diamond backs and other MLB Dominican Summer League teams. We will also play against local club teams as well. This is a great way to see how baseball truly is a part of life. Kids in the DR use baseball as there way out of the country and you get the opportunity to experience it first hand. You’ll be able to enjoy the beach right outside your hotel room at the 4 star all inclusive hotel throughout the week. This is by far the best valued tour AIST has to offer. Guerilla Baseball has been running our summer clinics/ mini camps thus far. We have had a great turnout. Our mini camps/ clinics involve a full practice session of fielding, hitting and throwing followed by competition with prizes given out for the overall first place, second place and third place winners. This is a great opportunity for young athletes to get a lot of high quality repetitions with professional instruction. They also have the opportunity to test their skills against other athletes in their age group and higher.

The Guerilla Baseball Academy will be running Summer Baseball Clinics from June 2 through September. Sign Up today by submitting the form below or calling the number above. The Summer Baseball Clinics will run every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am – 1pm with a 30 minute lunch break. The price is $25 for the clinic. You can sign up for as many clinics as you would like. The clinics will cover everything from throwing, pitching, hitting, fielding and strength and conditioning to proper nutrition and the mental game. Space is limited, so do not wait to sign up.

We currently have players from Slidell, Metairie, New Orleans, Covington, Mandeville and Hammond who will participate in the clinics. We are located behind K-Mart in Mandeville a few miles from I-12.

Guerilla Baseball Academy is holding a Baseball Camp at Pelican Park in Mandeville, LA on June 8,9,10. Guerilla Baseball is also holding a Pitching Velocity Camp at Guerilla Baseball Academy on July 8,9,10,11. We plan to run more Camps this summer so if you can not make the dates above then fill out the form below to request dates for a camp that would work better for you.

Most of our camps will include instruction for pitching/throwing, hitting, fielding and strength and conditioning. During our June 8,9,10 camp all players will be dividend into teams for tournament play at the end of the day. Awards will be given for the winning team and most valuable player.

Training has begun for 2009 MLB tryouts!

Guerilla Baseball will be at the 6/25 9 a.m. MLB tryout at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson, MS. We are currently training High School and College athletes for the tryout. If you are in high school or college and are ready to perform for a Major League team sign up today for a Membership to improve your ability and get bigger, stronger, faster. You do not have long, so do not hesitate or it will pass you by.

We are currently training MLB prospects in the area of pitching/throwing, hitting, fielding and strength and conditioning. We have many years of experience with MLB tryouts and scouting.

Major League Scouting Bureau: 2009 Tryout camp schedule

Tryout camps are open for all players over 16 years of age. There is no fee. Registration will be done 30 minutes prior to start of camp. All players must bring their own equipment. IMPORTANT: Each player must sign a liability waiver to participate. If player is under age 21, a parent or legal guardian must also sign the waiver. A waiver can be obtained in advance at mlb.com or at tryout camp registration. Tryouts subject to change.

The Abita Reds team up with Guerilla Baseball!

The Abita Reds are taking it to the next level with Guerilla Baseball this summer. They are working intensively with Coach Chuck and Coach Brent to improve their baseball skills. The Abita Reds are sponsored by Ocean Canyon Properties. Pitching and Hitting Analysis Studio on the Northshore

Guerilla Baseball now has an indoor pitching and hitting analysis studio. The studio is available for appointment only. You will be filmed and analyzed by professionals. After your analysis session your video and analysis will be captured on DVD for you to take home and view.

Your analysis will be compared to current professional ball players in your position. We have a full library of professional footage to improve your analysis.

Our analysis sessions are an hour long and are $50 per session. If you are interested in making an appointment for analysis please contact us today.

Professional Baseball Instruction in Mandeville, La.

Brent Pourciau and Chuck Hickman have played baseball all of their lives and finished their careers in the professional ranks. Brent currently writes pitching and throwing articles for a highly trafficed site called www.TopVelocity.net. Chuck Hickman has been a hitting coach in the Northshore area for the past few years after he retired from the Cubs organization. Brent and Chuck offer baseball instruction to a local area in Mandeville, La that is in real need of this type of sport specific education. Located just behind K-Mart in between the gymnastics facility and the car wash, this is a convenient location for most Mandeville residence.

The Guerilla Baseball Academy is now open and currently taking private and groupÂ instruction. The academy offers a monthly membership for a discounted rate on session fees.
